Who is eligible to apply for the Sara and Warren Welch Foundation scholarship?

If you are a Big Spring High School graduate and will be attending college on a full-time basis, you are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Is there a deadline for the application?

There is no longer a deadline for the application. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.

Do I have to apply every year?

Yes.

When do I start repayment of the loan?

You will receive information for paying back the loan shortly after your proposed graduation date.  You will start repayments four months after graduation.

What responsibilities do I have as a loan recipient?

 Be sure to notify our office of any changes in name, address, school, enrollment status, and any other pertinent information.
